Mimi’s goal is for you to leave her sessions feeling strong, energized, and balanced. Her excitement about PILATES began two decades ago when she stepped into her first mat class after years of figure skating and dance. Experiencing firsthand how Pilates can heal and prevent injury inspired her to achieve her Comprehensive Certification through the Kane School of Core Integration in NYC. Always eager to learn more, she has achieved continuing education in Prenatal Pilates through Deb Goodman, Pre & Post Natal at East River Pilates, and virtually through Allison Marsh, and Sarah Duval. Pilates for MS and Neurological Disorders with Meaghan Kopple, Fitness for Osteoporosis via IdeaFit, and is a BioMechanics Method of Corrective Exercise Special. An Athletics and Fitness Association of America (Afaa) certified group fitness instructor with over 20 years of experience, she has taught multiple fitness formats including Body Sculpting, Cardio-based Interval Training, Older Adult Fitness, Boot Camp, Belly Dance, and TRX. When not teaching or participating in Pilates classes, you can often find her at Sky Rink in NYC pursuing her other passion, Ice Dancing!
