TMJ stands for Temporomandibular Joint which is responsible for chewing or mastication. Dysfunction around the joint results in TMD or Temporomandibular Dysfunction. Our therapists use a wide variety of treatment techniques to help remedy pain related to the TMJ and other associated symptoms like neck pain, headaches and bruxism (grinding). Using a hands-on approach, we combine manual therapy, trigger point release, intra-oral release using ICT™ by Stroma, postural training, general conditioning and core strengthening using the Pilates Method to help relieve orofacial pain symptoms.
