ICT By Stroma
ICT by Stroma teaches practitioners and students how to use manual Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) to enhance the repair of injured tissues. This novel method provides a safe and clinically applicable method for practitioners to use on their patients to speed up the recovery process.
This method can be used throughout the whole body with a series of courses available online for practitioners and students. Come and learn how to restrict blood flow using your own tools, your hands, and improve your patient's outcomes.

Our Program
We know that blood flow is critical for tissue healing yet so many practitioners do not learn how to affect the vascular system in their training and education. Most physical therapy programs spend a total of 4 hours on the vascular system in total during the 3-year DPT program!
Tissues that have undergone injury can repair quickly and more effectively if brief and transient bouts of blood flow restriction [BFR] are applied to the blood vessels that supply the injured area. This method has been termed Ischemic Conditioning. Using ICT, practitioners learn how to manipulate the vascular system to augment the repair process and improve patient outcomes. Browse our course offerings to begin your path to understanding and unlocking the potential of the vascular system.
