Spinal Physical Therapist (Schroth or McKenzie Certified)

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and growth-oriented Spinal Physical Therapist certified in Schroth Method or McKenzie Method (MDT) to join our expanding boutique-style practice.

This role focuses on specialized spine care, including:

• Scoliosis (adolescent and adult)
  
• Postural dysfunction
  
• Disc herniations and bulges
  
• Sciatica and radiculopathy
  
• Chronic neck and low back pain
  
• Spinal stenosis
  
• Degenerative disc disease
  
• Mechanical and movement-based spinal conditions
  

This is an excellent opportunity for therapists passionate about corrective exercise, spine rehabilitation, and functional movement, with opportunities to integrate Rehab Pilates.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized spine care using Schroth Method for scoliosis and postural correction
  
• Utilize McKenzie (MDT) principles for disc-related and mechanical spine conditions
  
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
  
• Integrate Pilates-based rehabilitation when appropriate
  
• Collaborate within a positive team-oriented environment
  
• Continue advancing spinal rehabilitation and manual therapy expertise
  

Requirements

• Current NYS Physical Therapy License
  
• DPT degree
  
• Schroth Method or McKenzie (MDT) Certification
  
• Pilates Certification
  
• Strong interest in spinal rehabilitation
  
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
  
• Authorized to work in the USA
