Terms and Conditions / Waiver of Liability
For Participation in Self-Paced Pelvic Floor Therapy Exercise Program
Program Provider: Stroma Physical Therapy LLC
Please read the following Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) before participating in this self-paced exercise program. In order to access or participate in the program, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to the Agreement terms, you may not access or use the program.
1. Not Medical Advice
The content provided in this exercise program is for informational and educational purposes only and is not intended as a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. You should consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any new exercise or wellness program, particularly if you are pregnant, recently postpartum, or have a pelvic floor condition or other medical concern.
2. User Acknowledgment
By participating in this program, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are voluntarily engaging in physical activity.
- You have consulted with a healthcare provider or are participating at your own risk.
- You understand and agree that your participation is voluntary and that you may stop at any time.
3. Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge and agree that participating in physical activity, including pelvic floor exercises, carries inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- Muscular soreness
- Injury or strain
- Aggravation of a pre-existing condition
You accept full responsibility for any injuries or adverse outcomes that may occur as a result of your participation.
4. Waiver and Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, and discharge Stroma Physical Therapy LLC, its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and partners from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action, including those arising from negligence, related to your use of or participation in this exercise program.
5. User Input & Customization
Elements of the program may be customized based on your answers to intake questions. This customization is not a clinical evaluation or treatment plan, and should not be considered medical advice. You are solely responsible for determining the appropriateness of exercises based on your personal health status and physical condition.
6. Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of the program, all sales are final and non-refundable, except in cases of accidental duplicate purchases or technical issues that prevent access to the content. If you believe you qualify for a refund under these exceptions, please contact us within 7 days of purchase at support@stromapt.com.
7. Technical Support
We aim to provide a smooth user experience. If you experience technical difficulties accessing your course or materials, please reach out to our support team at support@stromapt.com. Our support hours are Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm EST. We typically respond within 24–48 business hours.
8. Data Privacy
Your privacy is of utmost importance to us. We collect limited personal information for the purposes of user registration, intake customization, and program delivery.
- We do not share or sell your data to third parties.
- Any health-related responses you provide are stored securely in a HIPAA compliant software and used solely to tailor the program experience.
- You may request to review or delete your personal data by contacting us at support@stromapt.com.
By using this program, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this section.
9. Intellectual Property
All materials, including videos, text, guides, and digital assets, are owned by, and are the sole and exclusive property of Stroma Physical Therapy LLC. You may not reproduce, share, republish, or distribute any portion of the content without prior written consent.
10. Modifications and Termination
We reserve the right to update, modify, or terminate access to the program or the Agreement at any time. Your continued participation following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York without regard to conflict of law principles.
