Office-Related Injury and Ergonomics

The most physically demanding professions requires a human to sit still, in one posture, staring at a screen, day after day. Sitting is the new smoking. Our team is devoted to breaking this cycle using manual therapy to help reeducate tense and weak muscles, postural therapy which focuses on optimal muscle length and reduced joint force load, as well as tips on an ergonomic desk environment. With some tips on stretch and exercise, patients can walk out of a therapy session feeling stronger, more informed and ready to take on the challenges of the day ahead. We are also trained in Pilates, which is incorporated into our treatment plan if applicable.
