Today’s young athletes are training harder and competing more often than ever before. While sport can be incredibly positive, the increased demands also come with higher rates of injury, fatigue, and burnout. StroMax Performance was created to support young athletes in a smarter way—by helping their bodies recover, move well, and stay resilient throughout the season.
StroMax Performance is a 12-week, recovery-focused program designed to help young athletes handle the physical demands of their sport while reducing injury risk and supporting long-term health and performance. The program works alongside your child’s current practices and games, without adding extra strain or time-consuming workouts.
Starting With a Clear Picture of Your Child’s Needs
Every athlete begins with a comprehensive performance assessment. This allows us to identify areas where your child may be lacking strength, moving inefficiently, or not fully activating key muscles—factors that can quietly increase injury risk over time.
Based on this assessment, each athlete receives a simple, personalized plan with sport-specific exercises. These exercises are carefully selected to address the most important needs without increasing overall training load. Programming is remotely monitored so your child progresses safely and appropriately as they grow stronger.
Recovery Support Through Hands-On Care
StroMax Performance also includes Ischemic Conditioning Techniques™ (ICT), a specialized hands-on therapy designed to improve muscle health, circulation, and activation.
ICT sessions are scheduled weekly or every three weeks, depending on your family’s availability. This flexible structure makes it easier to stay consistent without interfering with school, practices, or competitions.
A Thoughtful Approach in a “More Is Better” Sports Culture
Many young athletes are unintentionally overtraining. Our goal is to introduce recovery in a way that is intentional, measurable, and effective—not overwhelming.
By combining targeted exercises with ICT, StroMax Performance helps:
- Improve muscle function and coordination
- Support healthy soft tissue and circulation
- Increase physical resilience to sport demands
This approach helps reduce the risk of soft tissue injuries and keeps athletes feeling strong, confident, and available to play.
Tracking Progress and Results
To ensure the program is working, athletes complete performance testing at three points: the initial visit, at 6 weeks, and at the end of the 12-week program. These assessments allow us to measure progress, adjust the plan when needed, and ensure your child continues moving in the right direction.
Accessible Care for Families
StroMax Performance is available to young athletes across a wide range of sports. Services are insurance-billable and do not cost the team, making participation more accessible for families.
We believe every athlete deserves quality care. For families who need it, we offer sliding-scale options so financial barriers do not prevent a child from receiving support.
